About Jerry

I’ve always loved to draw. Growing up, my world was filled with Japanese manga and anime, and soon enough, my school textbooks were covered with character sketches. I always knew I wanted to be an artist. So when the opportunity came to switch my major from architecture to industrial design, I didn’t hesitate.

Early into my industrial design journey, I discovered a natural ability to visualize how things work—disassembling and reassembling objects in my head. I leaned into this strength, focusing deeply on technical drawing courses and immersing myself in the study of manufacturing capabilities and constraints. Once I learned 3D CAD software, everything clicked. I was able to bridge the gap between design and production, helping my team turn concepts into functional, manufacturable realities.

I also had the opportunity to teach for two semesters at my alma mater, Wentworth Institute of Technology, where I discovered another passion: teaching. This skill continued to grow throughout my career in the footwear industry, where I developed training manuals, led workshops, factory and supplier tours and established standard operating procedures to help teams work more effectively.
